the helping hands!

So lately in my Humanities class we have been studying classical music! It has made me realize how grateful i am for music and having it be a major part of my life! All the composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, Berlioz, Schubert, ect. amaze me! Really how did Beethoven compose music as great as his just by the vibrations of the piano. It's Amazing! and so many of the composers getting sick and dying at young ages, think of what they could have composed if they didn't die so young! So this week has been a reflecting week of music and how i really do love it!
Most people don't get a chance to sing in a school choir with a directer as great as mine! I'm so glad i have had the chance to sing in Jaztecs this year! it has really made me love music more and branch out of my shell a bit! It probably wouldn't be that great of an experience if it weren't for my teacher! He truly loves what he does and it makes such a great difference in how he teaches! Way to go Greg! haha
Also, my progress with my knee is going great! My physical therapist are pretty impressed at how well i'm doing! But really what would i do without physical therapy? I would have had the surgery and been at ground zero and never gone up! I can see that my therapist find joy in helping people getting back to 100%. How awesome would it be to help someone for your job all day and watch them make progress daily? I'm really appreciative of my therapist and i was thinking today, when i'm all done with my therapy it will be sad to go! We have grown close since i've started going there back at the first of december! But i'm not fully done for a while, so i guess it wont come too soon. But by that time we will be even closer!
I guess what i'm really trying to say is i'm so grateful for the people who will take times out of there lives to lend you a "helping hand" that makes you become a better person!

gotta love college life!

So this past weekend i was lucky enough to go visit Shauna at BYU-I. It was tons of fun! :) We had a blast just hanging out. We had a blind date on Friday which was tons of fun, and then Saturday i had cousin time with Alli, while shauna went on another date. Sunday we went to church and had a relaxing day, took a drive around Rexburg and had a yummy dinner. Then Monday and Tuesday i went to Shauna's classes. We went sledding monday night for FHE, and then on Tuesday night i took Shauna and Alli to dinner at Craigos! it was delicious. I'm sad i had to come home today, but tomorrow i'm gonna sit by the pool and go shopping with mom so i'm still experincing my Spring Break! It got me way excited for my own college experience at USU! (btw i got anohter scholarship to USU which made me very happy) :D
Shauna and i were talking on my way to the airport and thinking how greatful we are that we can go visit one another when we are away from home and stuff and we always have had the opportunity to see our siblings! So thanks mom and dad!

up at the burg!

so, this weekend i'm in Rexburg visiting Shauna! :) I got here yesterday and so far its been a blast. I got in about 5:45 and then i had a date at 8:00. Their whole apartment was all set up on a blind date. It was fun! :) When everyone got there we made homeade pizza's and then we went to play sardines at a building on campus, then came back to the apartment and made our homeade cold stone ice cream. It was lots of fun. My date was fun! he's name is Steven and he is 6'4. He's cute. yay. but yeah, so far its been fun. We went to bed about 2:15 and now i'm at the library with shauna and kellie. :) i'll post when i get home with pics.
