thanksgiving break

So this past week was spent in AZ. It was a way nice break from school. I caught up on sleep, saw a couple movies, hung with some old friends, ate thanksgiving dinner, and the best part was spending time with the family. Now i just have one week of real classes and next week finals. I'm sure it will go by quickly!

thanksgiving break...

I'm home for the week. it's a nice break from school. I go back up for 2 weeks and then back to AZ for Christmas. yay.

i just love fun weekends.

Friday: Aggie Basketball game. went with some girls and we got on the big screen dancing. (we are becoming regulars cause last week we did the same thing) talked to lots of our friends. then we went and had a huge sleepover in the girls upstairs room. they built a huge and we had lots of fun! 

Saturday: woke up at 11:30. ate breakfast/lunch. finished a 10 page paper i had to write. then my friend invited me to go archery shooting with her own bow and arrow! we went to this remote little field, found a scarecrow (frederick) for our target and set it up. However, we also found this huge old piece of machinery, and had a fashion shoot. It was seriously so fun, and we got some way cool pictures! (if you click on the picture it gets way bigger so you can see it better)

sorry there are SOOO many photos, but it was hard to choose just a few because they are so cool. Then today we had ward conference in our ward and it was way good. Every talk was very good and the lessons were well prepared. it was a fun weekend. and next weekend i'll be home! yay.

my first semester at USU is finished a month from today! 

i go home in 10 days for thanksgiving and cannot wait

i am very excited about exercise science. i love that stuff.

my fingernails are painted a bright coral/red. they are cute.

i've officially decided that there was a gene shortage passed along to guys between the ages of 18-25. This gene was a tall gene. 

i think the average height of guys here is about 5'8-5'9. for real.

i'm not a fan of plain white tennis shoes with really light washed jeans.

i think I'm going to Michael's soon... exciting.

i have a biology lab final tomorrow, I'm a little nervous, but I'm so glad that the class will be over.

i got my hair colored yesterday. it's just more blonde. but very cute!

i'm going to Madison's institute class again with her tonight! should be really good. 

christmas is quickly coming. I know what i getting almost everyone. there are a couple that i can't decide on.

dinner is soon. what should i make? 

i love asian people. when i see them around campus it makes me happy, and miss Zhou.

crocheting!

So Madison is obsessed with crocheting, she calls it her "reward" for studying! so today she came and picked me up and we went to Michael's to pick out yarn for a scarf she is gonna make me! I'm very excited. it will be way cute! it's heathered magenta purple and sage green. :) It will be way cute! i can't wait to wear it! :) She's gonna teach me how and then i can make beanies and scarfs and headbands for everyone! 

 

Miracle of Forgiveness

So tonight i went to Madison's institute class with her and oh my gosh.... it was so good! I guess I'm used to my class which is mediocre, the teacher isn't that great and the class is really quiet. When she asked me to go with her, i was hesitant because i didn't want it to be like my class. but i went anyways and I'm so glad i did. Her class is "Miracle of Forgiveness" and her teacher was SOOOO good, I'm definitely going to try to take from him next semester. 

But anywho, he talked a lot about goal setting and knowing what we want to do in life and accomplishing it, and then he went on to talk about marriage and why students today aren't dating/getting married how they used to. We figured the reason for this was most people are too selfish, they want to continue going to the parties, or hanging with the boys, or the girls are too picky on what they see. So as i was uplifted by this wonderful class, i thought i'd share some of my favorite quotes from it with all you!

Aren't those just great! i loved them when  heard them and i had to share them with everyone! And also below are pictures that were taken 2 days apart! Its definitely beginning to look a lot like winter. but i think I'm starting to enjoy it because it gets me excited for The upcoming holidays!

"HOWL"OWEEN

This weekend was eventful to say the least. Shauna and her roommate Sydney came down to party the Utah State way at the HOWL. Before they got here my friends and I made cornbread and chili and had a yummy dinner to start the night off right and then we all got ready to go! It was a way good halloween night. Then Saturday we woke up kinda late cause we didn't go to bed until 4:30, went to lunch at firehouse pizza and then headed towards Aggie ice cream... delicious! :) Then shauna and sydney left and later saturday night i went to another halloween dance party at this house. It was SO much fun. Everyone was dressed up again and there were so many people i knew and i also met a few! i love dance parties, they are honestly so much fun to me. Then today we had stake conference today which was way good, and now i'm debating what to make for dinner and whether or not i should take a nap. I love weekends like the past few, they are just so fun and it makes me realize that i'm so glad to be here at USU having the time of my life!
