it's the most wonderful time of the year!!! :)

I love this time of the year when we can play and not have to worry about anything but FUN!!! :) it's the best. So my christmas was great. It's just great to hang with the family and open gifts and eat lots of yummy food. Not much to say other than i'm having a great break. I've hung out with my friends lots, we went to the Temple lights last night, and we've watched the Gilmore Girls seasons, trips to Target and meeting cute boys! haha. playing Wii, its just been grand. Hope everyone else is having as much fun as i am. Happy New Year!!!

busy weekend!

Well, on Thursday and Friday, I had a choir concert. It was lots of fun. Here are a couple of pics:

accepted to....

Well, tonight i got a letter saying that i was accepted to USU. :) (utah state- for those who don't know). It's in my top 3 in schools and i am so excited. Atleast i have somewhere to go, if i don't get accepted anywhere else. I could follw mom and dad's footsteps. hehe It's been a good night. I was just waiting to get it in the mail. So, thought i'd share my excitement with the rest of you!!! GO AGGIES!!

oh my goodness..intensity!!!!

I am so pumped right now!!! We had a game tonight with the number 1 team in the state, i went into it thinking it would be a little rough, considering our record so far. The fame was amazing. we lost by ONE!!! it was 51-52. The #1 team in state... we are like not even ranked. well, now we might be, because we almost beat them.. it was the last 3.3 seconds. AH!!!! I wanted to win so bad. I want to play so bad. It was so hard to watch that incredible of a game and not even play. There better be a reason i hurt my knee, and i really hope i find out soon, becasue its so hard to not play. Well, it was amazing... ONE POINT.. oh man. Next time we'll get them!! Go AZTECS!!!!

6 things... hmmmmm.

well, i don't like these things, because it's hard for me to think of stuff to say! but since my sisters asked... here we go.

1. I love to be the first person to open and use a new tub of peanut butter and toothpaste. I don't know why but for some reason, but that first dip into the peanut butter or first squeeze on your toothbrush makes me happy!

2. I hate when i'm turning right and the one car infront of me isn't turning right and they don't leave you enough room to squeeze by. It always seems like the light is so much longer, and it's even worse when you are in a hurry!

3. In the mornig when i wake up and start gettting ready i stretch my face. like i open my mouth and eyes really big and then squeeze my face all together, it wakes me up and doesn't make my face so sooooo sleepy!

4. Every night i have to fall asleep to music. I think it helps clear my mind of the crazy thing going on in there. I love it around Christmas time because it's Christmas music. :)

5. I love to change a calendar to a new month. I did it this morning and it made me happy. Some people hate it because it stresses them out, but i love to do it. New month, new things to do! :)

6. Unlike my sister Shauna, I HAVE to eat breakfast in the morning. First of all, i like breakfast food better than any other meal of the day. 2nd, I can't function very well without food in my stomach for the day. 3rd, I get sick if i don't eat it. After about 45 min to an hour of being awake, if i haven't eaten, i start feeling really sick, sometimes to the point where i think i'm going to puke.

hopefully you learned stuff about me. :) I would tag someone, but i think all the people i know have already done it or been tagged. haha

bad news

Well, bad news....I tore my ACL and parts of my Maniscus, so therfore that means i'm out for the season of basketball. it's a major bummer..tears have been shed. I went to meet the doctor today, his name is Doctor Mattelino (something like that) he is a good doctor. i like him alot. he is the one that's cutting me open. ah.. i'm already nervous. My surgery is January 11thish. I have to go through Physical Therapy before to get full range of motion back and have the swelling go down.

All in all, it's not fun to end my senior year end up like this, i would have never thought i'd have to undergo surgery for my ACL. Maybe an ankle injury or something but never this. So that's all that's been going on lately. Not very uplifting news. Luckily i have other things in my life instead of just basketball.. choir, church, family, friends, ect. My family has been a huge help getting me food while i've been on the crutches and just drivin me around (but now i'm aloud to drive..yay, prayers said. They have been a huge support. Love them all. xoxoxoxo

yes. i'm a crip!

Well, on Wednesday night's game, i hurt my knee. I'm on cructhes and my brother Kenny said it's most likely a severe sprain in my MCL and maybe a slight tear in my maniscus. So, its a bummer! Hopefully i'll be off of crutches in a couple days, they are soooooo annoying. I'll probably be out for atleast 2 weeks. Its just a bummer starting the season not playing. Senior year.. man! Well, thats the scoop with that. I didn't end up going shooting on Thursday because, i'm on crutches. But Thanksgiving was fun. Everyone came over and we played a couple games and ate delicious food, and just had a good time! Today is Kenny's Birthday so we are going out to lunch and doing the whole b-day thing, it will be fun. Then i'm going to my game to cheer on the team! :) yay.

one more day...yay!

well, one more day of school for this week. Then Thanksgiving! :) yay. I've been busy, we have had our 1st tourney! so far we are 0-2.. :( but toda we played really well.. wo lost by 8 and i had my first double double of the season. 10 pts. 13 rebounds!! Whoo-who! It was fun.. so i'm just glad we have one more day of school left. Hopefully it won't take forever. and then on Thanksgiving i'm going shooting with my friend, Kristin. I'm excited, i've never been.. and we don't shoot animals. so this day will be greeat.. hopefully we get a win tommorrow in our tourney!

Well, for those that don't know already, i was choosen to be captain of the Varsity B-ball team. It will be fun. I'm ready to whip those girls into shape... just kidding i'll be nice! so i just thought i'd share.. it was fun!

busy like a bee.

Well, my life seems to have been hetic lately! I'm so glad it is a 3 day weekend. Gives me some down time so i can do fun stuff like this! The reason why it's been extra hetic is because basketball has started! It's fun.. i was really dreading every second of it at first, but know it seems natural.. although this morning practice seemed like it went on forever!!!But i hope we do well this year! Our shirts are cute.. i designed them. haha. And a fun part is that mark and dee have been here. They got here a couple weeks ago, and they left today. :( sad day. It was so fun to have them here. We just did a lot of hanging out. So that's why i've been busy, but know i'm undercontrol.. until monday! haha

Today is a fun filled day, mom and I went to a couple showers and we shopped around for a few things...that was fun!

And i just found out this morning that Shauna comes home on FRIDAY! I love how my family tells me everything. hehe It will be fun when she's home too.

hmmm...

Well, nothing eventful has gone on with me for the past week. I had FHE, then tuesday i had a basketball game. i scored 14 points, I guess that was kinda eventful. Wednesday, Choir sang at the state fair, then we had stake standards night, thursday i had a doctor's appointment, and then open gym, and then Grey's and ER! Last night was the football game. We played mountain pointe and won 41-6. Then today i studied for the ACT's for 3 hours. awww... and i;ve been studing the whole week too.. I better do good! And we've been doing house work all day.. :( not the best saturday! haha I went to the eye doctor and i have to get glasses and wear then all the time. So overall my week has been busy, but uneventful. Hopefully next week will be better.. It should be, Mark and Dyan come, with their boys!! yay.

Disneyland!

Well, disneyland was a blast. I seriously love that place. on monday we went to Downtown disney and just shopped around. Then on tuesday we went to Disneyland. It was fun. Lexi and Nenna were so excited and so fun to watch. We stayed at Disneyland the whole day. We just rode the rides, ate churros, and enjoyed eachothers company. It was fun to go on all the kid rides, i haven't gone on those forever. Then on Wednesday we went to disneyland and we went right to this thing called the Princess Fantasy Faire. It's just a place where you can go see some of the princesses. We were 3rd in line so we got to go through quickly. The girls were so cute! Then we did a few more rides and headed to California Adventure. I love tower of terror. I made mom get on it and she loved it! (she thought she weas gonna hate it) Soarin is always a fun one. I finally went on the maliboomer, i was scared, but then i liked it. :) we left for home about 7:00 and the traffic was pretty bad leaving L.A. and there were so many semi's on the way home. It was crazy! I tried to stay awake the best i could for mom's sake. I did pretty good! We got home at 1:20ish, and i woke up about 8:45! :) Today i feel refreshed suprisingly. Overall, Disneyland was lots of fun. I'm glad that Jac and Skye invited us to tag along with them! Yay. Love D-land! :)

Fall Break

well, I'm glad that this week is over! I was ready for Fall Break! It will be fun! We are going to DISNEYLAND! I'm so excited! we were originally going to go to K-town, but we waited to late. So we decided to go to d-land! I'm super excited. I can't wait for tower of terror, and space mountain, and churros! yummy. So, it will be fun! I'm just glad it's fall break. And i don't have to wake up at 6:50 for jaztecs! :) Fun times!

Weekend

Well.. Saturday was a fun day!
Kenny, Kayla, Savannah, and BK came over for the day because Kenny had his 10 year reunion that night! It was fun to play with all of them. Then About 4:30 i went to the mall with Kristin. I got some tights.. the ones with the patterns they're cute! then we went with Quincy to watch Adam and Katies kids for the night! Katie is so funny.. she kept telling us stories.. I was laughing so hard! But the time I got to bed it was close to 1:00. (So late for me!) Then Sunday had church. and came home. and finally put all my China pictures in albums! It was fun.. it made me miss China though. Then Quincy came over for dinner cause her parents were out of town! And then the other girls that went to china with me came over.. cause we had to make a poster of China for a display! It was so fun to see all of them. I'ts been forever. Over all it was a good rest of the weekend.

Today it's all cloudy and dreary! It makes me excited for the holidays! Tomorrow we start our christmas music in Jaztecs! That will be much fun.
