my little brother, leaves for Ecuador tomorrow morning!

Am I really letting him travel South America without me???
yup, i am. he has his 5 watches and 4 pairs of shoes to keep him company though.

This is truly a start to a great summer for him.

Tempe Sister Cities is honestly the best program out there.
$25 donation and a whole SUMMER filled with activity.
nothing can beat it.

Well, Robs. Have fun!
I know you will.

due to the "error" i kept getting while logging into my blog i haven't been able to for a while.

but i'm back with it.
here are some latest happenings!

Paraguay was the first. It was AMAZING.
I love forgien countries. there is something about the unknown, I love.
It was great to practice my spanish, taste the foods,
and meet the people shauna has been talking about for the last year and a half.
sisters. some would say twins?
love my parents
ya brasil.
airplane food... still isn't on the top of traveling.
it's more of a joke now than anything.
"capitol" building in Asuncion
parts of paraguay
excuse the self portrait- it's just a pretty view behind me.]
the family
i love this sign. (translation: hippy store)
we got to go to the temple too!

then came Iguazu, after some sketchyness at the border,
we made our way to Brasil for Iguazu Falls. no words can describe it's beauty.
shauna and i were tired and just laid down.

double rainbow!
200 year of paraguay was celebrated.

at church in amambay
shauna, dad, and mom
isn't she precious?
lunch at the aquinos.
little bit of rain
nice family and cute kids
the guards.... ha!
talk about the jungle
dinner with rolly, dulce and family!
little trinkets.
my friend Doyle introduced me to the show Swamp People,
since then gators are my thing.
the raunchy front desk lady.
Asuncion, Paraguay Temple
dad got his shake!

it was a great trip. So grateful I had the chance to go.

since i've been back i've...
-changed my flight to a week later. One more vacation week!
-spent quality time with the family.
-time with friends
-graduations for kindergartners.
-and almost read all three of the Hunger Game books.

it's been a great little vacation before school begins again.

24 hours= PARAGUAY!!!!

if you said I was excited, it would be an understatement!

there is something about traveling to me that no feeling can beat.

it's the unawareness.
the new scents and sights you experience.
foreigners from all over the world.
people you meet.
"hangover" from the plane ride.
the airplane food.
memories and photo opportunities.

ahhhhhh. i seriously cannot wait. geez. it's gonna be amazing.

not only are we going to Paraguay but to Brazil as well to see this...
iguazu falls. waaaaaat up??

anywho, i'm out for a week.
peace and love to all.

while packing up my things tonight, I came across these.

yes. I am really blogging about this pair of old vans.

but they aren't just a pair of old vans to me.
they've been through TONS.
knee surgeries, travels, snow, parties, and sun.
they have been a part of me for a while now.
and now, they are going into the trash.
shed a tear for me, please.

on another note, here are some other beauties i snagged with my camera.

this is CLASSIC. the tabs you can pull off are lyrics to his song "Hello"
i love this man. GREAT artist.

I went to my friend, Brooke Shoko Foster, for Easter.
unfortunately, this is the only picture i took.
spring flowers truly are gorgeous.

so, last 2 nights in Logan. Strange feeling.
room is getting packed away.
one more final to take.
then Utah State University is only a memory to be remembered FOREVER.
