man, can i just saw this semester is going by SO fast! I seriously can't believe it's February 22nd today! Spring Break is in less than two weeks and then school will be over almost! where does the time go?
so, on friday night me and a couple of my roommates hung out with some of our guy friends... funny thing is, it's a 2nd counselors son who just got off a mission! haha The even more random thing... Mom went to high school with the second counselor, Jeff Champlin, some of you might know him as well. But it was fun, they made us dinner and then we just played games the rest the night! and can i just say that pit is my favorite game, you don't find very many games that you can yell in! So that night was fun.
Then on Saturday, i woke up went to the gym, we had a floor breakfast and then i got some laundry done and just hung around the apartment, i should have done tons of homework, but they day went by SO fast next thing i knew it was night time! The weather was way nice yesterday! i was in my shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes and a zip-up hoodie all day almost! Then that night my good friend brooke was in Miss Cache Valley! Let me tell you the story of how she got involved...
Brooke and I went to Sam's Club and while we were checking out the lady kept looking at us back and forth, and then she goes "Do you guys do pageants and stuff?" Brooke and I were both like... uh... no. Then she continued to say, "Well, I'm in charge of Miss Cache Valley and i think you guys should go for it!" She gave us her e-mail so we e-mailed her and got the info, i decided not to do it.. just not my thing, but Brooke decided to go for it! Why not? if you win you get scholarship money and just a good unique experience! So she did and she did way good! She didn't win or anything, but just to be in a pageant like that is a way good experience! She looked beautiful and it was so fun and humorous to watch all the other girls compete!
After that we just hung out in snow, and got a goods night rest for church!

Church today was good, after sacrament meeting my good friend James came up to me and was like, "Hey, I'm getting the priesthood right now I want you to come in with my family and stuff." So me and a few of my friends went in to the room were James got the priesthood. It was way cool. He has definitely had his struggles in the past and he is trying so hard to go on a mission and it's just been way cool to watch him come closer to Christ. Then we had a great lesson in Relief Society and a linger longer after church! So far it's been a good day! I feel a nap coming on soon too, which might make it even better!"
