I used to think that when I missed something I should feel bad because the people that I'm with or around might feel like they aren't good enough. Now I've realized it's ok. When I'm with certain things or people, I miss other things or people. So all in all, I usually end up missing all things at one point in life.

So today I am missing:


talia. we spent 3 months together and now i don't see her beautiful face.

The city of Cusco. It's gorgeous.

Shauna. She is amazing and doing SO great on her mission.

La Jolla. this is the hotel we stay at. makes me SO happy.

ALL these girls. We have had AMAZING times.

once I said "If trees could talk, I'd talk to this one first." I just think it has a story and I love driving by it in Logan.

The people of Peru, humble, short, always wanting to talk, helpful, and so much more.

Ryleigh and Brooke, Ry is in Thailand all summer and Brooke I haven't seen in a year and wont until September. I can almost hear their laughs in this photo.

So, those are my misses for the day. However, even though I miss these things and people lots, I am SO glad to be home with family and friends, doing new things, meeting new people, eating mom's cooking and watching TV with mom at night.

So, I'm home, back in America, and sometimes I wonder why I didn't just stay in Peru! but I have lots to update about from the last while in Peru, so....i know it's not all that descriptive, but i figure "pictures are worth a thousand words".... right?

Hola America!

I have SO much to post about, but i just can´t bring myself to do it. I think i´m in denial that my time in Cusco ends on Saturday. Luckily, it´s not all the time is Peru. I still have a couple weeks, actually less than 2 now. I am indifferent with how I am feeling about leaving. I am super excited to come home and see everyone and do the ¨American¨ things, but at the same time. Cusco has been my life for the past 3months. The hospital, the people, the honking taxi´s, the short peruvians, the food, the spanish, the traveling, inkan ruins, ect. I am just saying that I will miss it. But I have to be grateful for the time I have spent here. The opprotunities I´ve had, the people I´ve met, and most importantly, the memories that have been made.

So, until I get home on the 21st! Goodbye my blog followers, when I arrive back to the states I will do a major post with what went on the last month in Peru! Lots to include!

so, goodbye Cusco, hello, Arequipa, Ica, Lima, and the USA!

So, this past week Tal and I headed to the beach. It was heavenly. We would wake up, go get some fruit from the farmers market for breakfast and veggies for lunch. Head out to the beach around 10 am, and sit there all day until around 4. Go in, shower, go get dinner, walk around the tiny town, watch the sunset, eat ice cream, watch TV, and do the very next thing the same day! here are just a few pics!




A couple weekends ago, we took a bus to Tipon (Inkan ruins about 40 minutes from Cusco) with our house mates and Wendi. We passed our stop in Tipon and got kicked off and had to hitchhike a ride back to Tipon. It was hilarious! In Tipon we had our first experince with Cuy (guinea pig). Honestly, wasn´t that bad, tasted like chicken, but I don´t think I´d order at a resturant. but worth trying in Peru! Here are just a couple pictures from that! I wish I could post more, but it takes quite a while to upload. So you´ll just have to wait until I get home to see more!
