j to the ungle

Yes. I have it bad.
It gets me around campus.
At the gym.
On TV.
Watching a ball game.
I can't seem to get rid of it.
It makes me weak inside.
I wonder why me?
Usually it's out of my league.
It causes a double take.
The worst symptom is loss of words.
Have you guessed it yet?
I have a fever. not any typical fever though...
Jungle Fever.

So on Friday afternoon I drove down to Provo to meet Mom and Dad for a night. They were up here for a couple of funerals and it was so fun to see them. Friday night mom and I went and surprised Kristin and her apartment! She was so excited and it was so fun to see her!

Then Mom, Dad, and I went to Olive Garden for dinner and we ended up getting a free dessert because they "took long." But the funny thing is none of us thought it was long! but it was so delicious! Then after that we went and walked around the mall for a little bit. I got a couple shirts from Forever XXI. Then we went back to our hotel and I jacuzzied and mom and dad watched me cause they forgot their swimsuits. Then we ended up watching TLC for a while, then headed to bed.
Then on Saturday we woke up and went to a Funeral for Dad's Aunt. And i just need to express my gratitude for a GOOD family. So many of Dad's relatives have fallen away from the Gospel and I am so grateful that dad had his head on straight,  and found mom and raised a family in the Gospel.  Seriously! But after the funeral we went to Zupas for lunch. (my favorite salad and sandwich place EVERRR!) Then mom and dad took off to the airport and I hung out with Kristin all afternoon. We went to this Festival Of Colors for the Hare Krishna religion. It's a HUGE thing in Utah and so many college kids go to it and one of the things they do is throw chalk everywhere so you get it all over you. I have no clue why, but it was WAY fun!

me, Sarah, and Kristin. The smog in the photo is chalk. haha

We were covered.
Then after that me and a bunch of Kristin's friends went to Cafe Rio for dinner and then i went back to Kristin's place, showered up and drove home last night around 10ish. It was SUCH a good weekend. I was able to see Mom and Dad and Kristin. It was just great!
Now only about a month left of school. :)
Then home for the summer!
yay.

the guardians.

Can i please just say that the two most amazing people I know are in this picture below...

yes, my mother and father. Seriously, I don't know if any parents can beat what they have done for me. They have been at every game of mine since the age of 3, every choir concert, always allowed me to try new things, supported me and continue to do so, answer my annoying phone calls and talk to me through them, get excited with me, taught me the skills in athletics I needed to be successful, send me packages with treats in them, have always been able to give me priesthood blessings when i needed them, take me on shopping trips, taught me right from wrong, taught me the importance of the gospel in my life and so much more! But the best of all loved me unconditionally.
I love them so much and am excited to see them this weekend!
