movie songs!

so for our choir program we always do a pops concert at the end of the year. its just a fun concert where we sing only pop songs!

This years theme is "Lets go to the Movies!" My friend Kristin and I want to do a number, but we are in need of idea's from movies! So if any of you have a good song from a movie you''d like to suggest, please do so! Thanks!

Febuary Festivities!

Well, this is for everyone who has told me i needed to update my blog!!!

Recently i tried out for this regional choir, its a region on 39 schools, and about 650 students tried out. To audition you had to sing a solo and then sight read! The whole choir consisted of 100 students, 25 in each part! I was 15th chair soprano! I was happy about that. They give you your music and you are on your own to learn it and know it by the date of the festival. We had to learn 6 songs in about 2 1/2 weeks!!! and when you got there you had a part check and if you didn't know your music and part, they kicked you out!!! But it was worth the stress of learning it. I've never been in a choir where everyone knew their music perfectly and all you had to work on was making it beautiful!! After the concert everone kept saying it sounded really really good!!!

it was really fun, and i'm glad i had the opportunity to do it my senior year.

On the 2nd my best friend, Kristin had her 18th birthday party! It was lots of fun. We went to the melting pot, a fondue place! very nice and delicious! (she's the girl in my profile pic)

Mom had a party with the grandkids on Valentines Day and i was invited to come home at lunch to visit them!! it was so fun, and they are so cute!

other than that life is going good. I'm decided where i am going to school... and it's gonna be UTAH STATE!!! :) i'm very excited and i feel like it's the best place for me to go. So i'll do Summer School at BYU and then head over to USU in the fall. I'm very excited for all the college things to begin! it will be fun.

I'm back!

Well, after a busy few weeks i'm back to the blogging world! New year's was fun! I went over to my friend Karlee's house, we went to dinner and then just partied it up at her house! It was fun! :) Over the break, it just hung out with the family, and my friends. I snuck into the Buttes(a nice resort for those of you who don't know) and we went jacuzzing! My cousin Alli came to visit and it was fo fun to see her and play with her for about a week! Last friday i had my knee surgery! :) It went very well, i'm walking with a brace and that's it. It's been so far a great recovery and i'm just doing therapy. The surgery went well, no complications! I'm still deciding where to attend college, I'm for sure deciding between BYUI and USU. They both have pros and cons, so we'll see. I got a scholarship at USU, so that gives me a little incentive to go there but i guess I'll just wait and see! :)

it's the most wonderful time of the year!!! :)

I love this time of the year when we can play and not have to worry about anything but FUN!!! :) it's the best. So my christmas was great. It's just great to hang with the family and open gifts and eat lots of yummy food. Not much to say other than i'm having a great break. I've hung out with my friends lots, we went to the Temple lights last night, and we've watched the Gilmore Girls seasons, trips to Target and meeting cute boys! haha. playing Wii, its just been grand. Hope everyone else is having as much fun as i am. Happy New Year!!!

Well, on Thursday and Friday, I had a choir concert. It was lots of fun. Here are a couple of pics:
