anyone in need of relationship advice? read ALL of this.

A person who I love and has ALWAYS been a person I have looked up to and will continue to do so forever shared some advice with me that I'd like to share:

"Well everyone has a different love story. Lots of people like to write their own love story before it ever happens. Then when they are in the real love story and it doesn't match up with what they already wrote it becomes a source of frustration or a stumbling block. Don't put yourself in a box. Keep doing the right thing with the main goal to get married in the temple. It will happen, and when it does it will feel right and you won't have to worry about how fast, etc."

we continued to talk and this came up:

"From the moment you meet someone involve the Lord. Tell him what you plan on doing and that you want to make sure it’s His will. Then do all you can and give all you can to that relationship the whole time trusting the Lord. As the relationship blossoms continue to do all you can to help it grow and include the Lord in the process. Pray for guidance, help, and strength. The time will then come to find if this is the "right one". If you've included the Lord the whole time it will be evident what needs to be done. If the relationship ends even though you don't want it to, but that what the Lord says, then you can have the assurance that it is His will and all will be right. If it is right, then the Lord will help you know for sure because you've involved Him the whole time. You can't go wrong including the Lord in dating relationships. It is a must in order to find the "right one".

Don't be afraid to get into a relationship out of fear that it may not work out or fear of getting hurt. It may not work out and it will hurt like you've never known, but if the Lord is included you will have that assurance and knowledge that things will be alright. Trust the Lord, don't hold back out of fear in a relationship. Do all you can to be the best in that relationship trusting the Lord will lead the way. He will. He won't let you down. He wants to be involved, so let Him be. That's the only way to find the "right one". Involve the Lord from the beginning and give all you can to that relationship having no fear. You can't lose this way. It may hurt, but peace is the most important thing to feel. Trust in the Lord and He will not fail you. Have faith, do good, and the Lord will lead the way."

is this not perfect?
I will be forever grateful to him for this advice.
thank you.

You'll be on the right path if you follow those words of wisdom. When did he get so wise??
