A lot of my mind is consumed by thinking of travel plans.
Not for any particular reason, just for the future.
Lately I've just been thinking of how BIG the world is.
I mean seriously.
New Zealand, Bangladesh, Ohio, Netherlands, Iceland, Argentina,
Ukraine, Fiji, Ireland, Switzerland, Flordia, Canada, Idaho, and China.
When you look at all those you think how different these places truly are.
In this little brain of mine I think, "oh, I'll go there-one day"
Realistically, I probably wont be hitting all of these places,
but.... A girl can dream, right?
However, even though my thoughts are consumed by this a lot,
more recently I've been thinking....
"Where will I be for the next 18 months?"
yup, you've read that correctly. 18 months.
for those who don't know or can't guess what that means...
I'll be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
** if you don't know what that means or want to know more go here*
I could not be more excited. It is simply, just right.
My mission papers are officially in so now it's the waiting game.
Everyday, or every 5 minutes (according to my roommate) I think of a new place I'll go.
Honestly, I have just as much of a clue as you reading this do.
The possibilities are endless.
So many places in this big grand world and who knows where I'll be.
For 18 months, year and a half, 547 days, 78 weeks, 13,148 hours
I am going to be a Sister Missionary for my church.
I am going to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who need it.
I am going to grow both intellectually and spiritually.
I am going to commit people to baptism.
I am going to make new life long friends.
I am going to challenge people to read the Book of Mormon.
I am going to adapt to new or old culture.
and most importantly....
I am going to do this with a smile on my face.
hop on board bloggers, this is just an adventure waiting to happen.

My roommates and I have had this slip of paper that just keeps...
we'll say reoccurring in the most random places. (mostly cause no one wants it)
So this morning I woke up with it right by my door.
I took this opportunity of being the only one awake to put it somewhere good.
I decided to tape it on the wall of the opposite shower (furthest from the faucet).
This evening we were all talking about it,
my roommate proceeded to tell me that she didn't notice for 3 minutes!!
HOW?? I asked.
She said that she looks at the faucet while showering.
Who does this? So foreign to me.
I would hate that water to keep hitting my face and not run through my hair.
So then we got on who showers which way kick.
so to my blogging friends this is where I need you:
Which way do you face while showering?
(clearly this is an important subject, we need all the help and votes we can get)

I like to think I'm a patient person.
But sometimes I'm furthest from.
I think I have this problem that when I set my mind to something,
I want it NOW. AHORA. PRONTO. (get the picture)
Then I remember to just breathe and everything seems a little better.
**or call my mom and vent--my poor mother(i love you)**
Maybe its just because school is kickin' my booty
or I am just really ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Probably a combo of both.
But I want it NOW. too much to ask??
Probably. Patience is a virtue.
One day I'll master it.... ha, who am I kidding? I'll always be working on it.
My goals this week:
be patient in everything, everything happens for a reason.
get on top of my school, church, and social life.
enjoy the crisp fall/winter weather before snow appears.
that's all.
enjoy the weekend.
isn't this photo relaxing?? love.
