today logan is pleasant.
it's sunny, and relatively warm.
I woke up, went on a nice morning jog, and was not once cold.
most people can't say that about Logan.

anyways, while walking to and from campus I saw many motorcycles.
and the question has come to my head,

WHAT IS IT ABOUT GUYS AND MOTORCYCLES?

can anyone really answer this question?

is it the power they feel operating such a heavy machine?
the "title" of telling people they have a motorcycle?
the fact that they are extremely dangerous and makes them feel tough?
how girls can feel their "washboard abs" while giving them rides?
the breeze they have blowing through their hair on a nice warm day?
the noise that'll make them go deaf by the age 42?
is it really just an "ego" booster?

I just don't get it.
any thoughts?

I've decided that I have a hard time staying in one place and one time.
It's a joke that I'll come to my roommates rooms and then leave after 5-10 minutes.
It's not at all that I don't enjoy the company.
it only because i need that fulfillment of making sure nothing else needs to be happening.

Along with this new realization, I've decided I enjoy change.
It's exciting, something new to chew one, and of course new opportunities.
there are a few things I don't like change with (halloween boxers, burts bees)
but one day, that'll be over. I'll move on.

Which brings me to the reason of this post.
Change is in the near future for me.
It's happening and I feel excited about it.
I am here to announce (to the 6 of you) that I am leaving Utah State University.
yes, shed a tear for me.
It's brought me up all these years of college and I have LOVED it.
everything about this school makes me smile.
but it's time for something new. something refreshing.
I am transferring to Brigham Young University.
I don't have a good reason other than, I need to and the change will be good.
I wish I had a program I got into or scholarship so people would understand.
but I simply tell them... I just need to go.

I am excited for this new chapter in my life!
who knows what it'll bring.
lets just hope for... good friends, good grades, and a little more sunshine :)

Spring Break has come and gone.
It was seriously SO wonderful.
I loved every second.
LOTS of memories were made, vitamin-D was soaked up, and food was tasty.

We began staying the night in Vegas with my roommate Lori.

Next up was AZ:

finally met baby jayda!

ate at a yummy sandwich place on mill.

after we left AZ we went back to vegas and then made a stop in Provo.

saw my besties at Cafe Rio.


now I'm back in Logan. a rainy day here.... someone send me sun! please!

another thing is... my sister gets back NEXT WEEK from Paraguay.

who would have ever thought she'd be posing with a frog???
I can honestly say her mission went by SO fast. i remember dropping her off
like it was 5 months ago.
I am so proud of the mission she's served.
it's really been a blessing for me to have someone out in the field.
and it has brought us closer than i ever thought it would.
so please, the next 10 days better go by quickly.
come home already Shauna. I miss you!

4 summers ago I did a thing that I claim to have changed my life immensely.
Tempe Sister Cities.
For those who don't know what it is,
It's a Student Exchange Program where you go and live in a foreign country with a family,
and then the kid who you lived with comes back and lives with you.
The now have 9 countries that they send students too,
and it truly is a time you grow up and puts life into perspective.
Not only do you go to each others houses, but the program provides trips to
CA, the Grand Canyon, and many activites around the foreign country!

4 summers ago, I went to Zhenjiang, China.





I was SO happy to find out last night that my little brother, Robbie, made it.
and to top it off he is going to Cuenca, Ecuador.
I seriously was so nervous before he found out.
My mom so simply put it as the "Mom feeling"
(i hate it.... who would have thought i'd have that feeling at such a young age)
This program isn't easy to get into, it's a 3 month long, ongoing interview process.
You and a panel of 10 judges answering questions
about current events all around the world, facts about all the cities, and personaly questions.
Robbie worked way hard and deserved to get in.
